Craig Baker, Project Director
Mr. Baker is a former teacher, principal, superintendent, and most recently an assistant director of an Upward Bound program. He's a huge Beatles fan, a musician, a father of four and a grandfather of one. Come to him with any issues you may have; he's more than willing to lend an ear and help you out!
Toua Thao, Academic Coordinator
Mr. Thao most recently ran the Hmong Literacy Program for the Appleton Area School District. He also worked for the Miami Heat basketball team in Miami, Florida and got to meet Shaq, Dwayne Wade, and many other NBA stars. He's a father of two (one superhero), a lover of ice cream, and a great guy to talk to. Call or e-mail him with questions or just to say hi, and he will surely brighten your day.
Myra Gilreath, Program Assistant/Office Manager
Myra recently graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a degree in International Studies and a minor in Peace Studies. She was a resident assistant and Italian teacher for an Upward Bound program in Michigan, and is thrilled to be working with FV-CUB. She handles all the paperwork, so if you're missing something, she will let you know! She loves the outdoors, reading, photography, and helping others. She loves to hear from students, so do not hesitate to call or e-mail her at any time!
Abby Ray,
Academic Tutor
Abby is from Indianapolis, Indiana and is a sophomore at Lawrence University studying Spanish, English, and education. She loves yoga, gourmet cooking, and is a self-declared pop culture junkie. Abby is excited to tutor at Appleton North and Appleton West with Sabrina and Oren!

Sabrina Johns,
Academic Tutor
Sabrina is a junior at Lawrence University and she majors in French and Psychology. She grew up traveling across the US since her family is military, but she now calls Appleton home. She loves reading, dancing, watching movies, talking on the phone, photography, and traveling. She really looks forward to getting to know everyone! Sabrina will be tutoring at Appleton West and Appleton North.
NOTE: We are located at 128 N. Oneida St. in downtown Appleton across from the bus station and the Appleton Public Library. Our entrance is underneath the Washington Place awning on Oneida St., next to the Harmony Cafe. Click on the link beneath the map to get driving directions.
During the summer program , our office will be located at Fox Valley Technical College. The street address is 1825 N. Bluemound Ave. in Appleton.
