Fox Valley Collaborative

Our tutoring sessions are one of the most important components of the Upward Bound program.  These sessions are mandatory unless students are in a school-related extra-curricular activity, in which case arrangements will be made for tutoring to take place during the school day.  Here is the current tutoring schedule:

Appleton East

Thursdays

Neenah and Menasha High Schools

Tuesdays

Sessions will be held at Neenah High School

Room 322 (Career Lab, across from the Guidance Office)

One Saturday a month, we will be doing either a campus field trip, cultural activity, or other field trip.  Following are the dates on which Saturday programs are planned (these dates are subject to change, and we will let you know in advance if that is case).  Times of activities are generally from 9:00am--3:00pm.

October 4th -- Orientation held at Fox Valley Technical College

November 15th -- Campus visit

December 20th -- Holiday party

January 17th -- Campus visit

February 14th -- ACT prep for juniors; PLAN assessment for sophomores; EXPLORE assessment for freshmen

March 14th -- Campus visit

April 18th -- Campus visit

May 16th -- Summer program orientation

Here's a link to our application.  We are currently accepting freshmen and sophomores, but eighth graders may apply for fall 2009 admission.
