SUMMER TRIP 2011: BOSTON

This year visited Boston, MA for our end of the summer trip. For many of our students this was their first time on an airplane, a boat, and/or seeing the ocean. It was an amazing experience.

UPWARD BOUND FOR BOSTON

After summer classes have ended and the stress of waking up for the past 5 weeks during their summer vacation is over, our extremely close and bonded group of students was rewarded with this trip to Boston.

We have an unbelievably inspiring and enthusiastic group of students who truly will be the leaders of tomorrow, and many of them are already the leaders of today.

We are lucky to have such a responsible group of teenagers who understand what it means to be Upward Bound!

Summer 2011

Students who participate in our 2011 Summer Program are eligible to go on our Summer Trip. This trip is fully funded by Upward Bound, including meals, hotel costs, and transportation, as well as all scheduled events. This trip is both educational and fun, as it rewards students for their hard work and gives our students another week after summer classes are over to bond and get to know each other.

New England Aquarium and Museum of Science tours

A guided tour of historic Boston via the Freedom Trail

Visiting Plymouth Rock and Touring the Mayflower II

Touring the USS Constitution

An Espionage adventure at 5Wits
